on having good intentions

The other day I made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. They turned out really well and were delicious. The batch made about four dozen. I put some dough in the freezer and had three dozen cookies. I though "wow, what a lot of cookies! we should give them to our neighbors or something".

they are gone now.

they didn't make it past the table, piled high in all their cookie-wonder.

but you know, they say it's the thought that counts.

I made oatmeal rasin cookies the other day and we still have a bunch. I think it is because they are not oatmeal chocolate chip. Next time I'm using chocolate chips.

Haha. This happens all the time with us. I always think oh maybe I'll freeze some for Greg to take for lunches or for when we have our next party....it never happens. I've started to just make really small batches of treats because I know if I make a full sized one I'll eat them all.
